Help us plant 900 trees and shrubs in Mono Mills!
September 20 - September 21
We are putting together a team to participate in a tree-planting event in Mono Mills in support of Pollinator Forest. Join with us on Friday, September 20 & Saturday, September 21, 2024 as we help create Pollinator Forest’s first Tiny Pollinator Forest! Spend the day in beautiful Mono Mills, Ontario and help us plant over 900 native trees and shrubs of varying species and sizes. All ages are welcome.
Using the Miyawaki Method, we’re planting a tiny forest of dense, native trees and shrubs to create a sustainable, miniature ecosystem for pollinators and wildlife.
Tiny forests, also known as Little Forests, Mini Forests or Pocket Forests are becoming a global movement. They use the pioneering techniques of Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki to create sustainable, miniature ecosystems in a short amount of time.
Sign up for our tree planting event and we will send you more info closer to the date. Read more on the Pollinator Forest website and then email us and we will add your name to our team. We can also arrange carpooling if needed.
